My story is about a father and daughter that fell 13 floors, during the earthquake in Chile. They went to hide in the bathroom, but instead fell through the apartment building floor, as their brand new apartment building began to fall apart. Father and daughter held on to each other as they fell, and came out with only a few minor cuts and bruises. Other tenats of the building remain trapped underneath of the building remains, 23 people have been removed so far, and an estimated 60 still remain trapped. I read this online at www.aol.com

My mom is a sales reprsentative for Page Plus cellular she got into the job because she has the ability to speak Spanish and English. She helps people who have promblems with their cell phones, and when they need to put more money into thier phone; she helps customers in Spanish and English. She enjoys that fact that she can help customers who can't speak English. My mom says that she doesn't like that she has to sit at a desk and work with the computer all day. College wasn't required for her job, but it gets you a better position. On an average day she answers calls, works with customers, goes to meetings to discuss ideas.

My dad with the department of defense, he supervises and works on the military vehicles. My dad says he doesn't really know how he chose this job. He supervises the people that work on the military vehicles, and he also helps work on the vehicles himself. He also has to do paper work about the status of the vehicles. His favorite part of the job is getting to work with the vehivles, and being with fellow army men. He doesn't enjoy the heavy duty of the work. For his job colleg wasn't required. On a regular day, to start off his whole job has to run three miles, and they get to work out, then they get down to working on the cars, and at the end my dad fills out paperwork. My dad said thats it's an easy-gong job.
